Apex names Zamal as compliance executive

by Matthias Plötz 15 August 2022

Apex Group has appointed Aneeqa Zamal as assistant vice president of compliance solutions, based in London.

She joins from the FCA, where she spent the last four years as an associate involved with the new investment firm prudential regime’s internal capital and risk assessment (ICARA) process. Prior to this, she worked for two years as a retention executive at HelloFresh.

In her new role, Zamal will assume responsibility for advising clients globally on cross-jurisdictional matters, licensing, and fund applications, and report to Hari Bahmbra, global head of compliance solutions, also based in London.

The appointment follows the firm’s expansion of the global compliance solutions team to Singapore, which The Drawdown previously reported on.
