EQT added to Dow Jones Sustainability Index
EQT has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI). The firm joins after its performance evaluation by the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), a sustainability benchmark.
The CSA evaluates the sustainability performance of thousands of publicly listed companies across 61 sectors, encompassing economic, social and environmental factors. Joining the DJSI is based on the company’s results from the S&P Global CSA.
Formed in 1999, the CSA has developed into an ESG indices benchmark. It was acquired by S&P Global in 2019, where the related ESG ratings and ESG benchmarking teams transitioned and currently operate from S&P Global Switzerland.
“Our inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices is a welcome testament to EQT’s purpose to future-proof companies and make a positive impact. EQT’s belief is that we can help make companies more sustainable while simultaneously delivering superior returns to our investors - ultimately creating a positive impact in the societies where we operate,” said Christian Sinding, CEO & managing partner at EQT.
Prior to this, EQT was added to the MSCI ESG Leaders Index as one of the companies with the highest ESG-rated performance.

The inclusion comes after EQT’s partnership with Nobel Prize Outreach earlier this month, which highlighted the firm’s desire to promote innovation and forward-thinking.
