K&E’s McCarthy joins Triton

by Matthias Plötz 12 December 2022

Tom McCarthy has joined Triton Partners’ legal function based in London, from Kirkland & Ellis.

Following the completion of his training contract with CMS, McCarthy spent the last ten years at Kirkland & Ellis. His practice focused on the structuring of private equity deals, leveraged buyouts, secondaries and commercial matters. McCarthy made partner in 2018, after six years as an associate in the firm’s corporate department.

His move will see McCarthy join an already established legal team with Daisy Raven as general counsel. Additionally, Amandeep Singh Johal is the firm’s legal counsel for portfolio governance and Craig Young is senior fund counsel.
