Filament Syfter and SourceScrub team up

by Matthias Plötz 26 September 2023

Filament Syfter, a company that builds proprietary data infrastructure for private equity firms, has partnered with SourceScrub to support firms in data-driven investment decision making.

According to the companies, their offering should allow GPs to analyse data at scale, operationalise their knowledge management and digitalise sourcing workflows.

To this end, SourceScrub’s data alongside a firm’s internal data and other sources will be integrated into deal-sourcing platforms built by Filament Syfter. In a next step, machine learning will be applied to this database to increase efficiencies in origination and monitoring.

As per a joint statement, this will “generate a valuable origination and sourcing asset instantaneously”.
