Gen II hires two
Gen II Fund Services has expanded its Luxembourg team with the hire of Duncan Christie as head of operations. He is also a member of the executive committee.
He joins from International Financial Data Services Luxembourg (IFDS) where he was COO. In this role, he was responsible for operations, client service, managing business transformation as well as research & development. Prior to this, he was COO and a member of the board of directors at State Street Services Luxembourg, where he focused on private equity and real estate servicing.
In his new role, Christie focuses on developing the firm’s operational model and client delivery. He also helps to drive Gen II’s continued growth across Europe.

Christie is a member of ALFI and serves as co-chair of the fund distribution and TA group in the ALFI digital/fintech forum. He also holds a CFA, CAIA, and FDP Charters and holds an MBA from the University of Oxford.
Additionally, the firm has hired Eva Ntovolou as global data protection officer.
She joined from Deloitte Luxembourg, where she led the group’s GDPR implementation and data protection function.
In her new role Ntovolou supports the firm’s data protection needs across Europe and the US.
