Hazeltree appoints chief technology officer
Hazeltree, a treasury and liquidity management solutions provider for the alternative asset and investment management market, has hired Paul Higdon as CTO.
Higdon joins the technology company from ION, an automation software firm, where he was chief product officer. He has two decades of experience in developing technology solutions and creating software businesses in the financial services sector. He has built up knowledge of product portfolio vision and innovation strategy.
Recently, Higdon boosted performance in treasury management through the implementation of cloud, big data, mobile and artificial intelligence technologies.
Key responsibilities that come with the new role include developing innovation through modern technologies, domain expertise, user-centred design, lean thinking, and agile delivery, for the purpose of creating tangible customer value.
“I am delighted to welcome Paul to Hazeltree’s senior management team,” said Tushar Amin, CEO of Hazeltree, to whom Higdon will report directly. “We have made multiple strategic appointments in recent months as we continue to scale our company. Paul’s experience in cutting-edge technologies will continue to raise the value of Hazeltree’s technology solutions and take our innovation strategy to the next level.”
Higdon added: “I am excited to join the team and add my skills and experience to the mix. I look forward to leading our technology teams as the business scales up to meet the increasing demand for its products.”
Higdon’s appointment follows Hazeltree’s opening of its fintech engineering centre in Bournemouth two months ago.
