Partners Group CFO steps down

by Matthias Plötz 25 May 2023

Partners Group’s CFO, Hans Ploos van Amstel, has moved into the role of advisory partner at the firm. Until a new appointment is made, head of group finance Manuel Ottinger and head of corporate development Philip Sauer will jointly share responsibility for the CFO role.

The firm brought van Amstel onboard in 2020, in order to modernise its finance function. His new role will see him provide consultancy services to Partners Group and select portfolio companies.

David Layton, CEO at Partners Group, commented: “Hans has been instrumental in shaping key functions at Partners Group through his substantial contributions to his areas of focus and the executive team. I am delighted that the firm will continue to benefit from his experience and expertise in his new role.”

According to Partners Group, the search for van Amstel’s successor is at an advanced stage.
