Travers Smith grows funds practice

Travers Smith has grown its funds practice with the addition of partner Tosin Adeyeri, based in London.

Adeyeri joins the firm from Proskauer Rose, where she spent the last three years as an associate in the private funds group.Her practice focuses on advising UK and international fund managers on the establishment and structuring of private investment funds, international governance and ongoing fund maintenance as well as secondary portfolio transactions.

Aaron Stocks, head of funds at Travers Smith, highlighted the focus of Adeyeri’s practice as an area “of strategic importance to the firm”.

Prior to Proskauer, she worked almost four years at Kirkland & Ellis, focusing on the formation, marketing, management and regulatory compliance of private equity funds.

She completed her training contract with Canadian law firm Fasken’s London outlet in 2015.
