BlackRock’s Narayan joins Arcesium
Financial technology and professional services firm Arcesium has appointed Mahesh Narayan as segment head (institutional asset managers), based in New York.
During his time at BlackRock, Narayan was the commercial director for the firm’s Aladdin Data Cloud. In this position, he assisted asset managers with data strategies, analytics and re-platforming. Prior to this, he worked at Refinitiv for six years as global head of research and portfolio management products.
In his new role at Arcesium, Narayan will focus on support services for institutional asset managers, including Arcesium’s cloud data platform and investment lifecycle solutions.
“As institutional asset managers redesign their data management and operational workflows while simultaneously reducing their total cost of ownership, they must address a growing number of challenges”, said Narayan. “I’m excited to have the opportunity to partner with clients in this expanding segment to shape their data strategy and transformational efforts.”
Arcesium’s CEO Gaurav Suri added: “We’re excited to have him on board as Arcesium broadens its scalable, tested solutions that empower the asset management industry to think beyond operational challenges.”
A joint venture between D. E. Shaw group and Blackstone, with additional investment from J.P. Morgan, Arcesium provides post-investment and enterprise data management solutions to financial institutions.
